motion graphics designer with 6+ years experience
Working with clients like Spectrum, PC Richard & Son, and Watkins Wellness, I’ve elevated in-store and online brand experiences by creating enticing attract loops, interactive UIs, and videos for social.
From sketch to pitch to storyboard to screen, I love every part of the process of creating motion graphics. Storytelling through design is incredibly important to me and I always strive to tell the best story for the brand possible through visuals and kinetic type, and I’m always up for new challenges. Here is my portfolio of my favorite work I’ve done over the years! Thanks for visiting :)
spectrum 5G rep wall content
2021, refreshed 2024
A spot intended to play behind the Spectrum Store Specialists rep stations to promote the availability of Spectrum Mobile’s 5G across the US. This is the most recent version of this content after Spectrum’s Life Unlimited rebrand in 2024. I love how this came out after the visual update. We used updated assets and colors to make the midnight blue really pop as requested.
spectrum one stream with xumo attract
2023, refreshed 2024
This attract loop was originally created to promote the launch of the Spectrum One Stream with Xumo bundle on the main screen of the demo bar experience in Spectrum stores and was refreshed in 2024 with the launch of the Spectrum Life Unlimited rebrand.
My favorite part of this animation is the remote “leaping” out of the screen because the client had such a clear vision for it and I was really happy to make that work.
savings calculator attract loop
2025
This attract loop is currently playing in stores on the Spectrum Savings Calculator experience to entice customers to try out the in-store Savings Calculator.
Since the brief was so simple, I had lots of fun finding little bits to embellish! Actually, that’s one of my favorite parts of motion design.
spectrum core product attract
2022
This is a bit of an older project, it was originally an attract loop on the Demo Bar main screen in Spectrum stores before it was replaced by the Spectrum One Stream bundle attract. The compositions were inspired by a Google/Android motion graphic promo that came out around this time.
test animations
2025
Various test animations for Spectrum projects, a logo animation for a transparent window display and a concept for an attract loop/carousel UI for their in-store demo bar experience.
spectrum sales force training videos
2023
We were tapped to create training videos for Spectrum’s sales force. We partnered with a production company who did the camera work, lighting, etc. I did the rough cuts, color grading, and final edits of all the videos. It was my first time working on live-action work like this and I absolutely loved the process.
retail survival kit promo content
2025
This is a “loading” screen into a promotion of our hardware/playlist product/service that will be sent out to leads preloaded onto a device with instructions on how to use it. I used this project to experiment with After Effects Expressions language, and I was excited for the opportunity to create a brand new wordmark for this internal team inspired by comic book covers.
trade show booth animation
2025
We wanted to make a big impression at the NRA trade show, so we came up with the idea to make our new monster mascot into the booth backdrop, with moving eyes! These screens ran through a few pieces of content, but I had fun figuring out how to make rigs for two eyes for separate screens.
product animation for tradeshow
2025
This content was for the same screen and booth setup as the above, with each half of the video playing on separate screens. This a spot promoting Reality’s main hardware product. Here I experimented heavily with the look, frame rate, and visual effects to create retro CRT-styled screens within a screen.
social posts
2025
I often get last-minute requests for video content for our socials. Here are two examples done without my usual process of research, inspiration, storyboard. There are certainly things I would do differently if I had more proper time, but I’m proud of the fact I was able to do the Women in Engineering post in about a day.
watkins AR social posts
2022
Watkins Wellness wanted us to create two videos to promote their two AR apps created with us on social. The 3D and footage captures were done by other team members, but I put the final videos together with motion graphics, type, transitions etc.
spectrum accessories wall refresh
We were requested by the client to create new content to replace the older video on the Accessories Wall experience in Spectrum stores. It was intended to be a rhythmic piece following the story of a mobile device and all the accessories it might need throughout a typical day. Unfortunately, the client was ultimately not able to secure funds to bring this to life, but I still absolutely love this storyboard and want to be able to tell a story just like this through animation someday.
storyboard examples
trouble at the fast casual restaurant
During our rebrand efforts, I was tasked to create a new reel for Reality’s website. Before starting on the actual storyboard, I couldn’t get this idea out of my head of one of our “operatives” slaying the “monster” threatening the safety of a QSR’s menu screens anime-style. I like to set my goals high and reach as far as possible, so hopefully someday I can make this, even though right now it’s just a pet project.
spectrum savings center UI
Nowadays, Spectrum uses their online savings calculator in-store, but before that we designed and maintained an app for them shown here. There was a live version done by our development team, but sadly I don’t have a recent recording of it due to the project being cancelled last minute in 2024. Here is a recording of the prototype instead. This app was focused on making the in-store calculator as seamless and fun as possible, within budget and brand limits. While not my professional focus, I do enjoy the process of figuring out UI solutions.
